Angela's friend, Nikki, is an artist. She is an INCREDIBLE artist. And, she's the illustrator of a picture book that is a finalist in this year's ABC's Children's Picture book competition! The title of the book is What's Wrong With Mud? written by Gillian Colley. It is ADORABLE!
Here's what I need for you to do. First of all...starting on September 16, go to the above website and VOTE DAILY for Nikki and Gillian. Second, post a link to this ABC Children's Picture book competition on your blog.
Heck, to pursuade as many people to spread this word as possible, let's make this a contest! Post the link and info on your blog, and then head back to Angela's blog and let her know that you posted it (and send a link), and she'll enter you into a random drawing for some fiber goodness.
Don't forget to go and vote, DAILY, September 16-30. If Nikki and Gillian win this, it would be such a huge break for Nikki. And she *so* deserves the chance to break into the picture book field!!
